A proposta arquitectónica resulta de um jogo entre os vários volumes que se apresentam sobrepostos, com dimensões diferenciadas e articulados entre si. Esta conjugação de massa construída irá desmaterializar a imagem do volume e advém da procura de enquadramentos e eixos visuais. Os princípios fundamentais para o desenvolvimento deste projecto basearam-se na procura de soluções energeticamente eficientes. Nomeadamente, no aproveitamento da grande incidência solar e na utilização de um sistema passivo de arrefecimento, recorrendo à ventilação cruzada e à geotermia. Estas soluções técnicas refletiram-se no posicionamento e abertura dos vãos que foi muito restrita a norte e nascente e na organização interior dos espaços sociais e privados. Alguns dos elementos de sombreamento em serralharia, criam a ideia de longas lâminas que transportam para o conjunto uma ideia de matéria texturada que se funde na mesma relação volumétrica e coerência visual da proposta. The architectural proposal results from a game between the various volumes that appear overlapping, with different dimensions and articulated with each other. This combination of built mass will dematerialize the image of the volume and comes from the search for frames and visual axes.

The fundamental principles for the development of this project were based on the search for energy-efficient solutions. Namely, taking advantage of the great solar incidence and the use of a passive cooling system, using cross ventilation and geothermal. These technical solutions were reflected in the positioning of the openings, which was very restricted to the north and east, and in the interior organization of the social and private spaces.

Some of the metalwork shading elements create the idea of long blades that convey to the whole an idea of textured matter that merges into the same volumetric relationship and visual coherence of the proposal.
